 Terms & Conditions

 

 Run Away Travel, Inc. (“Run Away Travel,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a licensed Seller of Travel located in the State of Florida. By booking a trip with us, you (“the Client” or “Traveler”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Our Role as a Travel Agency

 

Run Away Travel acts solely as a booking agent for independent suppliers providing travel services such as airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, car rentals, tours, and ground transportation.


All travel arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions of each supplier. Run Away Travel does not own, operate, or control these suppliers and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, or service failures.

 

2. Documentation & Travel Requirements

 

You are responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents for your destination, including passports, visas, and any required health or vaccination certificates.

 

  • Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your return date.
  • Run Away Travel does not verify passport expiration dates or visa requirements.
  • Any fines, penalties, or expenses due to invalid or incomplete documentation are the traveler’s sole responsibility.

 

3. Deposits & Payments

 

  • A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the hotel and transfer cost is required at the time of booking.
  • Airline tickets are non-refundable once issued.
  • 90 days before the travel date, at least 50% of the total reservation cost must be paid.
  • The final payment (100% of the total cost) is due no later than 35 days before the trip date.
  • Bookings made within 35 days of departure must be paid in full at the time of reservation.
  • Prices are not guaranteed until full payment is received and all tickets or vouchers are issued.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to your Run Away Travel advisor or info@runawaytravelinc.com. The effective cancellation date is when written notice is received.

 

Unless otherwise stated by the airline, resort, cruise line, or tour operator, refunds follow this schedule:

  • All deposits are non-refundable.
  • Supplier penalties are fully enforced. If a supplier’s terms are stricter than ours, their policy prevails.
  • Some airfares, promotions, and prepaid rates may be 100% non-refundable once issued.
  • Refunds or credits are processed per supplier policy; Run Away Travel cannot guarantee the form or timing of reimbursement.

5. Changes & Modifications

Any change made after a booking is confirmed is subject to:

  • A $50 Run Away Travel administrative change fee per booking, plus any supplier penalties.
  • All changes must be requested in writing and are subject to availability.

 

6. Travel Insurance

 

Run Away Travel strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment against unforeseen circumstances such as illness, cancellations, delays, or weather-related issues. Insurance is offered through third-party providers and governed by their terms. Claims must be filed directly with the insurance company.

 

7. Credit Cards & Chargebacks

 

By providing a credit or debit card for payment, you authorize Run Away Travel to charge the agreed amounts for your travel services.

 

  • A $100 non-refundable chargeback fee applies to each disputed credit card transaction.
  • If a chargeback is filed and Run Away Travel incurs costs (including but not limited to legal or collection fees) to recover payment, the client is responsible for those costs.
  • Chargebacks do not relieve you of your contractual payment obligations.

 

8. Force Majeure

 

Run Away Travel is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or expense caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

 acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, labor strikes, extreme weather,natural disasters, epidemics, or supplier insolvency.
 

In such cases, refunds or credits will depend solely on the policies of the involved suppliers.

9. Liability Disclaimer

 

Run Away Travel and its employees, agents, and affiliates do not own or operate any entity providing travel services. We are not liable for:

  • Any negligent or willful act, error, or omission of any supplier or third party.
  • Any personal injury, property damage, inconvenience, loss, delay, or irregularity caused by acts or defaults of any company or person engaged in providing travel services.

 

Your legal recourse, if any, lies directly with the supplier providing the service.

 

10. Refund Method

 

Refunds or credits are issued in accordance with the supplier’s policy. Run Away Travel cannot guarantee the timing of refunds or the method (credit, voucher, or future travel credit).

 

11. Governing Law

 

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, with jurisdiction exclusively in Miami-Dade County.

 

12. Acceptance of Terms

 

By booking with Run Away Travel, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the Cancellation Policy, Chargeback Policy, and Liability Disclaimer.
